It is Friday night. Too cold to go out, a good night to stay home. It seems we are always so busy, the kids hardly have time to play together. It is so nice to get the chance to stay home, turn off the video games and the TV and just play. It was so nice to hear laughing, giggling, and some occasional arguing that the kids worked out themselves coming from our den. Sometimes when Mom and Dad get out of the picture, the kids rally together, solve their own problems and are best of friends. Although Z and I were just in the next room, we just let the kids play and didn't get involved. We did not referee, we didn't worry about the mess they were making, and we didn't come running the minute our children called. It was refreshing!! They actually surprised us and handled themselves quite well!
