What a difference a month makes. After an insane October of baseball and softball and stuff to do everynight, we have made a complete 180. I am sitting here at 7:30 in pjs. It has been dark since 6 and we are all snug inside the house ready for bed. Just to think, this time last month I was getting ready for 7:30 baseball practice. Sydney is busy making plans for her birthday party. Ethan is busy trying to convince anyone and everyone to play a game of ball in the yard with him... he is really missing ball (not Mom). Miah is quite content to "mother" the new member of our family. Apporox one week ago we became a 2 dog family. We adopted Charlotte from a pet rescue. She is the sweetest, cutest little 2 year old dog. She has been great for Nate. He is eating better and seems much happier since Charlotte is around. Nate is so good at following the rules in the house, and Charlotte seems to follow right along. She loves, loves, loves everyone she sees!!! She will be the perfect camping dog. Nate is still around and is no trouble at all with our family. We are continuing to try and socialize her and hope that Charlotte will be able to help her with that. I am enjoying these few days without a million things to do on our schedule. The holidays are coming soon and that I am sure the running will start again. Z just returned from a week at school, can't believe he is almost done. Those weeks with him gone have been long, but well worth it. We have been enjoying the time outdoors and keep thinking that the weather will turn cold. We have had a few cold days. (The last weekend in Oct that we went camping), but mostly the weather has been perfect! Z and I started Christmas shopping today. Its amazing how the kids are getting older and their toys have changed. I am sad, no longer shoping in the preschool section for toys and clothes. Looking foward to 4 more days of school and then a week off for Thanksgiving break!
