Ready and Waiting

Wow! Cannot believe we have 2 days before school starts. School supplies have been bought, uniforms purchased and now we wait. As it stands, S will attend a new charter school that I have been trying to get her in. E is still hoping for placement at that same school, but we still have not heard anything about a spot for him. So for the present, I am planning on sending him to our district school, meaning I will be taking and picking up kids from 3 different schools this year. I guess I better get some busy work for the car line. This will definitely be a year of transition for us. S is excited about her new school, and E is fine with attending his old. I am thankful for 2 excellent schools to send my children to. God is good and His timing is perfect! I know He will take care of my children, no matter what school they are in. I always get this crazy, obsessive feeling every year before my kiddos go back to school. My worry and anxiety about them going away to school get the best of me and I obsess about EVERY detail of EVERYTHING! School supplies, teachers, bus or car, my kids friends, lunch money, what they will wear and how I will fix their hair....the list goes on!! I think I am worse this year because of all the transition. Sigh.... Let me stop and know that God is in control and everything will work out.
