Shortly after Tully and Lauren got engaged in February they asked all 3 kids to be in the wedding. Tully also asked Zach to be his best man. The kids were excited to get to be a part of Tully and Lauren's big day. We knew the wedding was going to be in Texas, so we started way in advance to make preparations for this big trip. Little did we know that a flood would come along in D'ville right as we were scheduled to leave on Wed for our big trip. We had a little extra drama getting started on our journey carrying our luggage and our kids out of our neighborhood on foot. Ha! This will just make to memories better!
We had a wonderful time in Texas. The wedding was gorgeous and I breathed a sigh of relief after we came through the wedding (all 3 kids) with flying colors. M even stayed on stage the whole time without incident!!!! Zach and I had a running joke before the wedding that; What were the chances of all 3 kids lasting the whole ceremony without incident? Not sure what the chances were, but much to my relief and surprise they did it!!!! We were very proud of all 3 of the kids! Even after days staying up late, missed naps, and way too much junk food the kids were very good. The last straw, was the 1 1/2 hour delay on the runway on the plane ride home. Zach and I were sure we would pay for all the good behavior, but to our amazement! They did great. Maybe, just maybe they are getting a little older and traveling will be bearable again!!!
