What did everyone do on Labor Day? My hubby worked the City of Douglasville Parade (which he has done for the last 11 years) This year we joined him. The city is trying to approve a special tax for a new police building, to say they need a new building is an understatement. Anyway , I put S and E to work passing out flyers, I was glad to have them, mom is way to shy to go up to perfect strangers and pass out political stuff. The kids were great, they have no problem with this!! They had lots of fun!! I must admit, the weather was perfect, cloudy and cool. They were very tired after walking the parade route, so we sat down for a snack and waited for Daddy to come and get us. Daddy owed us, after all our hard work for his cause, so we headed out for Mexican and ice cream to finish up our day.
