Happy Birthday

Today is Miah's 7th birthday!!! Every time we have a birthday and my children turn another year older, I find myself reflecting on how fast time is flying and how quickly my children are growing up.  I am totally in the trenches (right now, more than ever) but I try and step back to think how quickly these children that have been intrusted to me will be adults, busy with their own schedules and familis. So yes, tomorrow, I will be the crazy taxi driver running my kids all over the world, the homework police, and the schedule coordinator, but today I just want to savor my kiddos and think about how precious our time is together.
What can I say about my 7 year old Miah?  I can't imagine life without you.  You are definitely my third born and you fit that role in our family perfectly.  You are my stong, thoughtful, silent child. You are naturally a nurturer and a protector.  Combined with that personality is a stong sense of who you are and a confindnce that must have just come from the Lord, because even as an adult and mom I struggle to have that kind of confindence.  Hope you will never lose that!!! God made you tiny in size but gave you a very large heart.  My prayer for you is that He will do big things with that heart of yours!!! Continue to listen to the Lord and let Him guide you.  Miah I can't wait to see how God is going to continue to work in your life and I am so glad that I get to be your Mama!!!!  Happy Birthday my sweet girl.
