E is always trying to avoid bedtime. Sometimes at night he comes up with quite a story to avoid going to bed. Tonight as I was beginning our bedtime ritual, he began his "stories". E began to tell me about this long nap he had taken at school this morning, that his teacher had made him take a "hundred" hour nap today. (E goes to preschool from 9--12 in the morning and they never take naps) Knowing that E never takes naps at preschool, I reprimanded him about his story and told him that telling me he took a nap was a lie. I told him that Mommy is not happy with him when he lies to me. E quickly dismissed the reprimand and ask me. "How do you know I didn't take a nap? You don't have a video tape."
The apple doesn't fall far...
