"Ok mom, quit taking pictures and let us play"I just love that my kids are still young enough to be excited over the smallest things. We were out of school this week. We didn't have any BIG plans, we just took it easy. On Tuesday, the highlight of our day was going to Chick fil a!!! They were so excited! They played on the playground and even got to trade in their "happy meal" toy for ice cream. A special treat that they don't usually get. I know, soon the days are coming when they will want to do "bigger and better" things-- that are much harder on my pocket book. But for now, I will just enjoy the screams of delight when I announce something so simple as "We are going to Chick fil A"
