I usually love the balance of being a mom and a nurse. I work 2 days a week 8:30-5:00 in the Recovery Room with a great group of women. It is such a blessing to be able to be home with my kids 5 days a week, but it is also nice to go to work, have adult conversation, miss my kids a little, take care of people who really need you,and for the most part are very appreciative of you being there. (Oh, and it also pays the mortgage!) Like I said, I usually love the balance of being a mom and nurse, Friday I felt a little "unbalanced". Let me just give you a run-down of my day.
