Anyone who knows me knows that I just haven't run out of things to blog, I truly love the weather!!! I am always watching the weather channel, checking the temp, checking for the next chance of rain, etc., etc. I love warm, sunny weather. When it is Jan or Feb I am constantly looking to see when it is going to warm up. As soon as it is over 60 degrees we are outside, looking for the nearest playground or park. Needless to say the weather so far this Fall has been gorgeous!!! So please excuse me if I bore you with weather talk, I cannot help it. Being outdoors in the warm weather and the sun is the highlight of my week. Today it was almost 80 degrees and not surprisingly, we were at the park. I actually had to look for the shade. If there is any downside at all to this beautiful weather it is my children and their summer clothes. Most of these clothes were ready to be retired at the end of August and now I have stretched them another 2 months. Why did I buy jeans for back to school clothes? It is now the 3rd month of school and none of my children are not the least bit interested in wearing long pants. How can I blame them when it is 80+ degrees in the afternoon when they go out for recess? Oh well, I will not complain, there will be plenty of time for jeans, I will just enjoy my shorts and capris. Now if we could just have some rain to go along with this warm weather....
One of my dear girlfriends also shares my fascination with the weather. Sometimes when we have driven our husbands crazy checking the weather channel and the doppler radar, we give each other a phone call. We totally appreciate each other's love for the weather and have so much fun comparing weather info.
All this to say, I am so thankful for these gorgeous fall days!!! I really mean it, I am not just bored and have nothing else to blog!!!
