I was in total denial. Tuesday afternoon M climbed out of her crib after her nap. She walked out of her room, looked down at me from the railing and said "I got out of my bed". No! it can't be true. Maybe, I just left the rail down, maybe it was just a fluke and she tumbled out, surely she won't do it again. I am not ready for this. Much to my dismay, this was not the case. Tuesday night she repeated herself. Once again appearing at the railing and telling me, "I got out of my bed" As you guys can relate, you know this is big. Especially if you are the kind of mom who prides herself on "I just go put my child in the bed and she goes to sleep, no rocking, no laying down. I just simply put her in the bed" Well, so much for that... This has definitely altered my plans. I had planned to keep M in her crib until she was 20. Wednesday we had no nap and she was up until 10pm!!! Needless to say you know why is is Friday and I am just getting the chance to blog!!!! I now join the ranks of moms who go through their day without the assurance that their child, at least one, will surely take a nap. Oh this is big...
