We have officially finished our 1st week of school. We are going through an adjustment phase. S is a little unsure about being a 1st grader, with a whole new group of friends in her class. Despite a few tears (from S and mommy) we are persevering. We will like 1st grade! We will like 1st grade! We will like 1st grade!!!! (It is unbelievable as a mommy, how we relive all those memories of our childhood and experience them again, the good, bad, and ugly, right alongside our children.) ?Did I sign up for this? I have already been to 1st grade. Ha! We are giving S lots of extra hugs and support, and know that soon she will be loving 1st grade as much as she loved K-5.
